I just have one thing to say on this day, *sniffle,* Father’s Day…
Some of us, *sniffle,* got our precious, you know, taken away surgically and so yah, I’ll never know…wahhh, what it would be like to be a . . . a . . . father!!
Wah!
OOOHHH, go on, all you fathers out there…hope you had an electrifying and Happy Father’s Day!
With all my love,
Chuckles, the farm dog.

Right on, Russell Ray!

Thank you Frizztext…and by the way, this comment was found in my spam box. Just so you know…
Peace to you
I had begun to miss Chuckles…sorry he is so sad…but, like my Jill…parenthood was not in the picture…~mkg
It’s really for the best I tell Chuckles…*smiling*
Overpopulation leads to all kinds of problems I remind him. Thanks Marilyn for sharing
too cute! ~mkg
Woof!
Chuckles is so cute it almost seems sad not to pass that somehow…but a wise decision. All my babies are done.
Hi Jo,
We have quite a few stray cats and dogs running around looking for basic needs to be met and it’s always sad to run across them. (Our babies don’t know they really are the lucky ones!) Thanks for coming by and sharing…:)
Too true. We have here an animal charity that operates in Christchurch (the city devastated by the earthquakes that takes dogs from the pounds down there (the ones about to be destroyed) and rehomes them. They are completely overwhelmed at the moment because of strays that are breeding all over the place. it breaks my heart. Recently my neighbour (whose dog has been neglected for years) had pups after she got loose. It really saddened me to think that these little guys are destined for such a life as well.
Oh, Jo…did your neighbor’s dog get better treatment after the pups arrived? Probably not, I imagine. Arrgh. It makes me mad and sad at the same time. There’s a dog who recently appeared downtown and he has no collar so either he got dropped off and left or he just walked from who knows where to our town. He currently sleeps under a big bush at a convenient store grass spot and someone is giving him water and food. He keeps his distance from any human so personal help is nearly impossible.
I’m so with you about all these neglected animals that could be prevented had pet owners just took the time and effort to neuter them!
On that note, thanks for sharing and I wish you a great weekend coming up.
Sadly Millie does not and never will live with good and responsible owners. Mnay times I have wanted to simply go in and take her away. My only satisfaction is that they kept one of the pups and she now has company. She used to spent day after day locked in a backyard on her own.
That is so sad. My brother dumped one of my dogs and my brother’s dog when I was younger. It was something I never forgot and have never forgiven.
i hope you too have a great weekend. Me…my wish is to be flu free after a month. Keep your fingers crossed.
Happy Father’s Day too!
I loved your Father’s Day post…happppy days to you too, Elizabeth!
Please stop by and read my Father’s Day post. I think you will like it.
Thanks Marcy, I did enjoy how you honored your father through the written word. He’s smiling, I bet.
Thank you for sharing and have a great week!
Thank you and you too!
